Well, you are correct in saying that having the ellipsis at the end of the quote is proper but it is never correct to have them at the beginning of quotations.
Ex. “This movie is never going to be one of the greatest movies of all time because it is very stupid.”
>>> “This movie is… one of the greatest movies of all time…”)
Although, any punctuation must be placed on the inside of the quotation marks.
Also, “there is no n in remember,” should have been typed as “there is no ‘n’ in remember.”

Actually, in this case, the sentence would properly end with quotation marks. Ellipses points being placed before the quoted text (as well as after, in this case) would be proper as well, since the quote he made is only a partial quotation.

The statement should look like this then:

There is no n in remember, and that should say “…how good she looked…” not “…how she good looked…”
