I commend those for pointing out the grammar error (good to know that some readers on the Internet, besides me, care about this stuff). And kudos for a great poster – “mesofunny”
Settia get off your high horse … it’s “Grammatical error” or “error in grammar”. Grammar is a noun and grammatical is an adjective. Nouns do not modify nouns. There are people that do know more than you, regarding writing, and don’t give a crap about such a pathetic waste of time.
@ Angelo, gee, I will need to remember this the next time I try to find a hardware error, because apparently there is no such thing, hardware being a noun and all.
Here is the thing (or it that heres’) – the pistake in the poster detracts from the joke. It causes the reader to pause momentarily when parsing the text. The text does not work as is, so the reader has to guess at the meaning. Bad bad bad.
the ‘pistake’ only distracts if you are dumb enough to look for it. It is a picture of rodents with light sabres. It’s like a Matrix fan pointing out that the WCW is fake
NICE Grammar fail all of you. I don’t mind the grammar fail in the original post, but it’s pretty good when everyone who tries to defend it in the name of humor has worse gramar than the original poster.
But it’s a good poster anyway.
Seriously guys why do people always harp on about spelling/grammar/etc? Enjoy the damn joke and if you don’t like it then for the love of god don’t comment and spoil everyone else’s fun
Parsing? Parsing means to examine or analyse minutely. If you are “parsing” your text you are missing the whole damn point. READ it instead and it won’t “detract from the joke.” Anyone with an IQ above idiot will realise the meaning of the text. Stop trying to be a smart ass.
dood i no wut u meen. i cnt beleeve how bad teh grammars polise r heer.
Seriously people, yes proper grammar is important, but why are we starting flame wars over grammatical errors? If you really have a problem with an error in syntax or grammar in a demotivational (which is not even a word by the way) poster, then make a new version of it. It is easier to effect a change in the use of the English language by fixing things yourself, rather than complaining. Oh, and before anyone tries to hit me on using effect rather than affect, I used the proper word, effect as a verb.
^ fail…THERE JEDI F’CKING SQUIRRLES… they are in the area of the double facepalm… its fake, but is real. (no human could ever make enough fail for 2 facepalms in one moment, in the same place, and it to be captured….)

*points* GRAMAR, spelling fail -.-
Dude, that wasn’t a spelling error, for, as you can see, he spelled it correctly prior to that. It was a typo.

Not being the first person to post a grammar fail and posting it anyway = fail.

Wtf..This isn’t grammar class.
These are not the nuts you are looking for. Move along.
Grammar Nazi’s… cant help but correct what’s already been corrected.
Haha, yeah!
Nazis does not require an apostrophe, which denotes possession. Might want to move that to the “can’t” that’s missing one.
Strong with the burns, Brian is
“Strong in The Force are we! Nuts we take! The trees’ and yours! F*** with us, you do not!”
