Actually depending on whether or not the RPG arms the warhead after launch or in-flight, the “terrorists” may survive.
You are right the RPG-7 doesn’t arm until it has flown 5 meters. All that would have happened is “Jamal” would have decapitated the Journalist and impaled the dude with the long rifle with a rocket.

Uuuh… actually, in case you people are not aware, those aren’t terrorists. Those are Militants in Nigeria coasting down the Delta river with a white hostage as they always do. Learn to tell the difference please. Terrorists wouldn’t keep this guy alive without having tied him up. Militants keep their captured victims unbound so that the victim can think there is hope, attempt to escape, and then get slaughtered in a hail of bullets.
