And I hate to nitpick, but the correct meaning isn’t even there; the “correct” answer is in the imperative. I don’t know about the rest of you, but when I type “lol” I’m not ordering people to laugh, I’m expressing the fact that I find it humorous.
“laugh out loud” is a commonly accepted meaning, grammatically correct or not.

Same here, most people know LOL is “Laughing Out Loud” so I’d rather just be a dumbass and vote for which answer I liked the best. The choice being the stupidest as well.
Technically, the term SHOULD be “laughING out loud,” not “laugh out loud,” but since “laughing” wasn’t an option, I decided to be hilarious and pick the linguini one.
