You call it trash, I call it a real computer with real power. Any computer that you buy off the shelf, then have to modify so much that it’s no longer “off the shelf” is seriously flawed. At least Macs can run right out of the box without any so-called “operating” modifications.

Speed on a given hardware platform
Generally lighter
Fewer viruses (and yes they do exist)
Crunchy, yet sweet
PCs are better at:
Price (1/2)
Compatibility
right-click
netbook (unless you own a hackbook)

But please.. no more fanspeak (but I try to state the facts.. especially about how delicious apples are)

Yes, but it’s a pain in the ass for us PC users.
PC is better at gaming to,cause not all games are compatible with Mac.
Macs are just different. Not better, or worse then some cases I have had. What I really don’t get is their entire naming structure. Want to use the internet? They don’t have an internet browser. They go on “Safari”. Sounds like you really took a trip didn’t it? Oh wait, your internet connection is down? Better go look in your “airport”. Maybe you forgot to buy tickets to the place you where going on “Safari”.
But Macs are easier aren’t they? Sure they are. Until you find a program you really want to use on the net but it isn’t Mac compatible. Then you have to download and learn a windows emulation program which sometimes is equivalent to learning a whole new OS.
The funniest thing I’ve heard of from the Mac world was a few years ago when Macs came with Windows. So what exactly where they avoiding?
Macs are like moms, they limit what you can do to the point where you get basic tools but no custimization, PCs are more for people with technological knowledge, or people that know how to work a computer. It’s basically a template for a computer and you customize it your way. If you believe that all computers should be the same, get a mac, if you wish to make your computer more “you” then get a pc. Thats pretty much what it boils down to.
I had a conversation with a friend about something similar. My idea was to have Microsoft make a version of Windows with a name relating to a sandwich. Microsoft Windows BLT was suggested. Then the back of the laptop could be a sandwich with a bite taken out of it.
