  5. weaselboy246 says:

    No, I’m last.

  6. Torch says:

Maybe you don’t realize, the middle guy(who gets the mic in the photoshopped half) is Lee Harvey Oswald, the killer of President Kennedy. This was taken when harvey was murdered while under police custody by some guy in dallas. thats why it’s funny

    • buffy says:

*Alleged* killer of President Kennedy, if you subscribe to the Warren Commission’s story.

      • Investigator says:

…or if you have ever been to the 6th Floor Museum, or done any private investigation into the matter, or done the acoustical science behind the films. Yeah, if you believe any of those.

        • Pancake Lord says:

Because if YOU looked into it, there’s no room for error, right?

If anything happened in history at any point ever, there is no such thing as “certainty” about what happened. History as records is too mutable.

        • Nick says:

Anybody who’s been to the 6th floor museum and looked out the window (actually, the next window over, since the actual window is part of a plexiglassed-in display of what it looked like that day) would immediately realize how easy the shot was, given that Oswald was in the Marines once and trained as a sniper.

It looks far, far longer on TV than it really is.

Truly the simplest explanation is that Oswald was a lone nut-job. The simplest explanation isn’t always the truth, but it’s the way to bet.

          • Loki says:

Because it’s possible to make his shot ring out, then change directions AFTER it passed J.F.K and lodge itself into his brain from the opposite direction as Oswald? Sounds simple and reasonable… psychics is a tricky thing. ~eyeroll~

            • bitte? says:

psychics?… try “physics”… grammar is a tricky thing too

              • Hoo? says:

Maybe he meant “Psychics” as in he used his mind to maneuver the bullet through the air into JFKFC’s head. That way he could’ve been at any vantage point, any time, and just waited.

                Then…

                Mind-Melding Headshot!!

                • Hoo? says:

And yes, I know that would be “telekinesis” not necessarily “psychics”. They fall into the whole ESP column at least.

        • TC says:

Now, I can see him making the throat shot, but that head shot (that made the back of his head come off as a perfect bowl shape and spattered his brains on Jackie) definitely came from somewhere else.

      • Darkenna says:

…who was *allegedly* murdered by Jack Ruby (the dude with the guitar), live on television. Ruby died before he was convicted (his original conviction was thrown out by the courts).

      • Mottototot says:

The actual killer, unless you are actually stupid enough to believe the conspiracy theorists…

    • gabby says:

The guy with the guitar is Jack Ruby.

    • fonji says:

You may notice the Dead Kennedys logo on the wall…

      • Skavenknight says:

I actually didn’t… thanks to you this is now funnier :)

      • Anna Rexia says:

Holy crap. I’ve had the original of the ‘shopped version for a LONG time (before people started tagging images with “Impact” font text over the pictures) and I never noticed the DK logo on the wall. Damn. When someone did caption it, they put it below the picture. It reads “Thank you, Dallas, good night!”

      • Dansquatch says:

Now I feel stupid I noticed it and didnt make the connection, thank you sir.

    • Sorsha says:

      Some guy = Jack Ruby

      The more you know!

    • The Amazing Rando says:

      NO! You don’t say! /sarcasm

    • PT says:

      No s**t, Sherlock!

  7. ElemWiz says:

This is an amazing job in photoshop!! Wow!

  10. tankboy says:

This was printed in Wired Magazine about 10 years ago.

  11. Martini Rossi says:

Demotivational or not, already printed or not, this is a very ingenious and superb work!

  12. I’m fairly certain that’s an actual screen cap from Oliver Stone’s airy 1991 science fiction-comedy JFK.

    • Nick says:

Only because Stone probably used the photograph of the incident that was taken not quite 30 years prior…

  13. Geekboy says:

He’s never gonna give you up

  14. Ellie says:

LMAO. this is great. however if you’re a clueless american, then you definitely don’t get this.

  15. T says:

“Ladies and gentlemen-Lee Harvey Oswald and The Assassins of Funk!”

  16. punk's not dead says:

haha, win – anybody notice the Dead Kennedy’s emblem on the wall in the back?

  17. Steevely says:

  18. TP says:

  19. Sorsha says:

    Woo!

    JFK: Rockband!

  20. Dantist says:

    where was batman?

  21. bachamn says:

How am I the first one to point out that this was a image put out by the Dead Kennedys YEARS ago? I’m even willing to bet this was pre-Photoshop.

  22. Nikola says:

Doesn’t matter who made it or when or how, it is full of win.

Also, Stalin is crying in hell because his historical “do-overs” never came out as good: http://www.newseum.org/berlinwall/commissar_vanishes/reinventing.htm

  23. Derek says:

Bachamn, don’t make stuff up. It’s immoral and makes you look stupid.

  24. KeiDub says:

the only problem is that the reason there is a DK symbol is because it is from one of their albums loooong before photoshop was produced

  25. ThatOneGuy says:

    19th

  26. Anonymous Coward says:

George E. Mahlberg a/k/a “dr cosmo” did this photomod in 1996.
Iz called “Oswald In A Jam” I have a signed copy from back then. (somewhere “safe” and hidden, probably lost. )

Probably one of the most widespread/well-known/widely forwarded pics. on teh interwebz.

  27. guitargirl says:

eep… my OCD means i have to point out that the guitar is a righty being played as a lefty!!

    Love it though!!

  28. Steve says:

Well Texans are changing history all the time, though usually it’s through their revisionist textbooks and not Photoshop.

  29. hawkeye says:

Nice. The shot (No pun intended) of Jack Ruby (Insert “Guitar Hero”) murdering Harvey Lee Oswald (Insert “Dude singing”), the supposed or most likely (There you go conspiracy theorists) killer of JFK; and, as someone pionted out earlier, the insignia on the back brick wall is the one of the band, “The Dead Kennedies”.

  30. Melero says:

You really think one man alone could pull that murder alone?

Sometimes i wonder if you are really the same country that put a man on the moon…..

    ..Oh, wait !….

  31. AlmostJustNot says:
