The poster tunnel evolved over several months, almost a full year IIRC,
I can’t recall who created the gif though. Sadly, after about 300 pages the thread got so massive it crashed the server and had to be removed. Fortunately a few of us saved copies.

The original source was the “RPG Motivational Poster” thread at forum.RPG.net/
I was the creator of… let me see… “Break it up”, “Promethian: the created”, “Episode IV”, “Roll a spot check”, “Regeneration”… and several more, but those were *after* the ministry of silly walks.
The thread in question spanned some 500 pages (at 100 posts per page)… and the tunnel actually ran off and on throughout most of the thread, and was made into a .gif at least twice.
It destroyed the server, and was locked.
Since then, there have been multiple Poster threads, though none have reached the same scale or potence.
