Double correction: F4 Phantom, notice how the bottom of the nose is in line with the fuselage, not curving up, the wing starts too far forward for an F18, and the canopy is a “windshield” not the bubble style of an F18
Wrong again. F4 has intakes on the side. I think that is a trainer of some form.
Quadruple wrong, the back end of the bubble canopy is behind the sonic cloud thingy(can’t remember what it was called). Plus the OP of the poster never said it was a specific variant, so technically this is right. Also, F-4!?!?!?!?!?! WHAT THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN SMOKIN MAN?!?!?!?!?

It’s an F/A-18 Superhornet flying in a humid atmosphere. Breaking the sound barrier doesn’t cause a cloud to form behind an aircraft, humidity does due to changes in air pressure when the aircraft is maneuvering and/or accelerating. Good try everyone. http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/sun/contrail.html
