  2. john2x says:

I would like to say first but I don’t like to be trolled on by someone else… and I don’t have anything to say about this picture co’z I don’t like it

  3. Malon says:

Its a demotivational poster… the poor kids will have nothing to eat for dinner. Its a statement of fact not a wish… therefore he did not buy first class tickets to hell.

  4. Brady says:

He bought first class, I’m drivin that bus… Great, another D-bag to deal with…

  5. JASON says:

    Wow! Classless, this is funny?

  6. Tita says:

That is NOT funny… Actualy this is pretty uncool. Dude don’t joke with that.

  7. Valentina says:

Oh please…..if you’re that effing poor…STOP HAVING CHILDREN.

    • TrafalagarLaw says:

In certin parts of the world the only way to survive is to have a lot of kids so they can all get jobs and support each other, or maybe there a chance only one in five kids are gunna make it.

    • jamisings says:

Some countries don’t have birth control and the men are allowed to do whatever they want to women so even little girls are forced to have babies they’re not able to care for.

So unless you’re going to single-handily put an end to rape and distribute affordable birth control for all – STFU.

      • Bobby says:

Shut up. The entire thing is funny. That’s the reason you come here. If you feel so sorry for this third world scum, try missing a meal and give them our hard earned cash. I’m not going to.

        • Psh says:

Uhh I don’t really think the 8 bucks you make working at Micky D’s will help these kids all that much…they won’t mind if you keep it; they know that poor people exist everywhere :) The rest of us will more than gladly pitch in to cover for your underprivileged self.

      • Anonymous says:

I agree with your point, but I don’t think ‘affordable’ birth control is going to solve anything. People will use the money to buy food instead of pills. It has to be free, or people need to be taught basic economics to understand that trading your pills for food will cost you more money if you get pregnant.

        • Lulz says:

Unless you starve to death before you even get the chance to get pregnant. Basic economics only work if the actors are rational…how rational would you be if you were starving?

    • lilbooshy says:

      Considering lack of birth control?

    • Jesus Christ says:

c’mon just cause your poor doesn’t mean you stop liking sex

      • Valentina says:

I’m certain that there are MANY people who like…oh, I don’t know, a Ferrari perhaps…but they don’t have one because they CAN’T AFFORD ONE. I don’t give a f**k what you LIKE, if you can’t afford the consequence of sex then you shouldn’t be having it because it’s not my responsibility to feed your starving mistakes.

        • klara says:

          Get off my interwebz.

        • klara says:

I’m certain that there are MANY people who like…oh, I don’t know, a child perhaps…but they don’t have one because they CAN’T RAISE ONE. I don’t give a f**k who you ARE, if you can’t sympathise for the less fortunate then you shouldn’t be on my interwebz because it’s not my responsibility to listen to the rage to your mothers mistake.

          • Where are you like button? says:

I wish this were Facebook and I could like this. But since it is not I shall give you +1 Interwebz points. Congratulations.

        • Vetal says:

Not being the “oh poor starving chiiildren” prude WIN

        • Chuck says:

obviously, you’ve never lived in Africa, which unlike wherever your privileged ass came from doesn’t have access to proper education.

        • noway says:

Your level of stupidity amazes me.

        • dsch says:

I just love what you posted man; I just don’t agree with the “sex ed is only really taught in certain parts of the US and UK and literally NOWHERE ELSE”.
Are you serious or you’re just saying that because you concider only people from these countries come here ? Cause in France Belgium Spain etc we have proper things for that and everybody’s well aware of the stakes you’re talking bout.
But nice comment, I just hope that Valentina person’ s just a dumb troll.

    • Akasha says:

Y’know, there are some countries where birth control isn’t legal or available, right? People are going to have sex no matter what; that’s just what living, sexually-reproducing creatures do.

      • Vetal says:

Yep. And STARVING – that’s what living creatures do if they don’t have enough food, but have a lot of unprotected sex

    • Crumbs says:

Moronic comment is moronic. As others have said, there is a lack of sex ed, rape running rampant, and having kids is sometimes the only way to help your family survive. So in conclusion: keep your misinformed and ignorant comments to yourself and Glenn Beck.

  8. Hinoki says:

Seriously uncool and downright offensive, actually.

    • ICantStandTheSight says:

      Uncool means hot, ‘right?
whatever, Hands off complaining about stuff in life.. won’t change anything.. so LAUGH about it.

  9. klara says:

    Tonight we dine in hell!

  10. Luis Wischatta says:

    wow….very funny-.-….

i hope you guys go to hell!!!

  11. Svend says:

    This is not funny..

  12. Mike says:

He didn’t buy his ticket to hell

“His suffering got him the ticket to heaven”. I’m non-religious but I understand that…

  13. Audra says:

Yeah, way to go, laughing at the unbearable suffering of people in the third world, while you sit in the first world, never knowing for a moment what starving to death feels like. Enjoy that nice, free ride to hades, f**ko.

    • suvival_of_the_fittest says:

      HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!

    • Chuck says:

Humor is how we deal with incredibly depressing s**t like this that enables us to go about our normal lives, so we can make money at our jobs and donate some to charity to help those children, because even though we laugh, we still recognize their plight and think its terrible.

      • @Chuck says:

I get your point, but…I don’t know, laughing at the image of emaciated children because I know they won’t get any food tonight doesn’t help me deal with this depressing situation. It makes me cringe at the level of inhumanity I just displayed by laughing. There’re different types of humor, and some are depraved…like the original poster.

    • Asinine commentator says:

dude, no one knows what starving to death feels like.. when you do, youre dead.

    • Ignacio says:

Actually I live in the third world, that means I can laugh as much as I want, right? :D

    • Zombie Victim says:

Actually, I have a pretty good idea of what starving to death feels like, because I missed breakfast this morning.

Just kidding. I think most people here understand that life is hell for those kids, and I think they weren’t exactly laughing at that. I think the main thing they were laughing at was the extreme f**kedupedness of the original poster in this demotivational. It’s possible, if you have a sick sense of humor. I have a sick sense of humor, and thus find this funny in the worst sense of the word. I know, I’m going to Hell.

Oh, and by the way, who the f**k says ‘f**ko’? The only other time I’ve heard that was in The Usual Suspects, and the characters had similar responses to mine. If you were trying to insult us, you should have just said ‘you sick f**ks’. We still wouldn’t care, but it’d look better than ‘f**ko’.

  14. Guy2 says:

this is so demotivational … :( oh wait right…

  15. ivan says:

LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL im laughin at the original demotivational poster

hahahahahhhaha epic win… those n***** are dying slowly, nice

  16. Taiyou says:

Tickets implies plural. Guy is singular. See me after class, young man.

  17. Douglas says:

    thats freaking AWESOME!!!!

  18. Donnelly says:

    Man, this is f**king hilarious.

  19. hhkk says:

LOOOOL stupid nig nogs… serves them right for being so lazy.

  20. Not D says:

Aw f**k. Now you made me guilty of throwing food away… It was 3 days old!

God, I remember one of the photographers for things like this. He committed suicide after 4 months when he came back to US.

    • Sarah says:

I know who you’re talking about. I think it was a photographer for National Geographic, and I believe the pic was of a tiny african child laying on the ground crying…something along those lines…

      • too funny says:

        No!
He was a Pulitzer prize winner. The picture was a small poor starving kid crawling on dirt ground while a vulture watched behind him waiting for the kid to die. damn.

  21. Octavio says:

Then I got like 30 tickets to hell because I love being racist, insult stupid people, etc…

  22. Jonn says:

Everyone, the “guy” in question is the one who made the original demotivator. Not the poor kid being depicted.

  23. This guy says:

What’s hell anyway? Is it some term that people think is real so it only motivates people not to do certain things? Same thing with heaven and god. Only tools of motivation. Nothing more… as far as this picture, the response poster made me laugh cause I see dying kids. Weeeeeee!

    • Idiot says:

Perhaps one day when you grow up, have kids of your own, and one of them dies maybe, just maybe, you will understand that dying children isn’t funny, under any circiumstances

      • Zombie Victim says:

Read anything by Edward Gorey. If you still don’t think children dying can be funny, you have no sense of humor.

From The Gashlycrumb Tinies, by Edward Gorey:

‘A is for Amy, who fell down the stairs
B is for Basil, assaulted by bears
C is for Clara, who wasted away
D is for Desmond, thrown out of a sleigh
E is for Ernest, who choked on a peach…’

I think you get the point.

    • Idiot says:

Perhaps one day when you grow up, have kids of your own, and one of them dies, maybe, just maybe, you will understand that dying children isn’t funny, under any circumstances?

  24. fireinthenight says:

To be quite honest, I thought the first one was funnier…

  25. Scatt says:

You guys realize when he says that he’s going to hell he is talking about the first effin demotivational

  26. Ska Pino says:

I would hate to think what Economy looks like on the ride to hell, considering that it’s already torture when you’re flying to paradise.

  27. Zoë says:

he may go to hell but he will be with friends! Just cuz you don’t find it funny doesn’t make it tasteless.

  28. Ben Feenix says:

Holy S**t this whole thing is flippin’ hillarious. It’s not that big of a deal. Take it down a few pegs people.

  29. Someone says:

    A list:
1: god (sorry you silly atheists) is real
2: there is a heaven and and a hell
3: some of you on this page deserve to go to hell as much as the first guy who thought this poster was funny
4: dying children are not funny, whatever the race may be, imagine being born into a world with no food, mother, father, home, dog, future, I could go All day but the point is these people have nothing and if given the opportunity would take it and make somthing of themselves unlike you ba$$Tards who think any of the is funny.

    • klara says:

Oh great, another flame war topic.

    • Idiot says:

WTF does dog come into it?

    • Vetal says:

      god is real [citation needed]
there is a heaven and and a hell – Show PICS!

    • Cactipie says:

Dude, I’m a believer too but I don’t go aroud saying “God IS real” and that there is a heaven and hell as if its a fact whitout any solid scientific proof, and you should not either.
I’m sure God has a sense of humor and understanding.
Were merely laughing because its so wrong it gets funny. Were not laughing at the situation of this kid, were laughing at the wrongness of the poster.

    • T42 says:

      Excellent!
’1: god (sorry you silly atheists) is real’ Why the lower case G?
Anyway, since ‘god’ is real it can be reasonably argued by some that ‘god’ wanted those children to starve to death as they are surely innocents and could not have possibly done anything yet to deserve such a fate otherwise.
Why would people go to hell for caring as much as ‘god’ does?

  30. InterNet Guy says:

If I was over there, I would eat a starving child.
They look rather lethargic, and shouldn’t be able to outrun or defend themselves from cannibalism… am I wrong?

  31. lolicaust says:

Yeah seriously, the first one made me laugh. It’s bad I know but there’s a lot of messed up stuff in the world. And getting all upset over an offensive joke isn’t going to make it any better. All it does is make’s everyone who laughed at the joke feel like they’ve done something wrong. Even though it’s funny and it’s just a harmless joke. Laugh about it and don’t be so serious.

  32. Locust says:

Who ever hates this is going to hell for liking the original.

  33. legend-in-my-own-mind says:

I have to admit I laughed. Yes it’s sick, and yes it’s the sad reality of life in some countries, and no I would never have posted it, but I still laughed. That said I feel horrible for people in these situations, and hope someday we can avoid having people starve anywhere, but I laughed if for no other reason than it makes us, with our Beef, it’s whats for dinner adds look pretty wrapped up in our own pleasures, while others suffer, and if you cannot poke fun at yourself, then you probably have no sense of humor anyway.

  34. Cynical-Vegemite says:

All jokes aside, the first caption was a little tasteless and judging the looks of the kids in photo, they would agree that there was very little nutrition in the first caption

Ok, ok I know I’m going to hell as well, but hey I knew I was going long before this, might as well make it a first class ticket ;)

    All hail Satan

  35. MarkeyDesod says:

    Schadenfreude-

Not only is it a very useful sentiment, it also helps us cope with a harsh reality.

One could read the caption, belt out some laughter, and feel a cathartic sense of absurdity about the situation.

OR you could gnash your teeth, start fuming about how evil other people are, how much you hate them, maybe start reciting every little statistic you can dig up to support how horrible you find the material, like it’s noble to tell someone they can’t laugh.

And who really handled it better, between the two?

The world’s pretty horrible, so much so that if you can’t occasionally make a joke out of a tragedy, you’re unlikely to ever laugh at all. And again, how will you cope with it then?

  36. Diane says:

This is one of the few things that actually made me giggle on this site…

  37. pop says:

We must determine why does this happen. If you look a bit deeper you will probably find that the reason for this is that ordinary citizens suffer under power hungry, self enriching, war loving leaders. And even though democracy exists in these countries, people tend to “waists” there votes by voting in the same corrupt leaders over and over again. Hence, you will find that African leaders stay in power for 3 or 4 terms. Lets just call it “political uneducated”. Remember, these people had chiefs previously, in charge of the tribe. No matter what, you support the chief – there is no alternative. They cant be voted out, and i’m a strong believer that the mentality of one leader only stuck.

There is also a hatred of anything “west”. You will notice these leaders criticize western countries, but when money is being handed out by the west, they are first in the line to receive. SOLUTION: Stop giving aid to Africa, otherwise it will never learn to solve its own problems. It sounds cruel, and probably is. Ask yourself: Why would you plant food for next year, when you know by pasting a picture of a starving child, the west will go weak and drop some food. Also, remember, people get Government grants per child. In many cases, this is the only income for the family. So, yes, people think more children = more money. It is just the way it is – Africans think about today, ignoring tomorrow.

  38. TJanssen411 says:

“Tragedy is when i stub my toe, comedy is when you fall into an open sewer and die.” Mel Brooks

    is it sick yes
    is it wrong yes
    is it funny, YES

suck it up, walk it off and move on

  39. LectureMeNot says:

    Stupid yanks iz stupid.

  40. Alemu says:

Guys, whether this web-page is motivational or demotivational, such… comments as the 1st guy made are really… well, really evil. It’s hard for me to leash my indignation, but some things cannot be laughed at. I mean, it’s okay if you laugh at someone’s fault, it’s fine (not that, but still) if you gloat someone’s misfortune, but this… This is something far beyond it.

Nothing has ever saddened me as much as seeing people mocking the little children who may not survive another day.

    Thank you for reading.

  41. Rachel says:

    I can haz cheezburger?

  42. Cactipie says:

If they were talking about the kid they’d make a poster of the picture, not the poster. Why is that so hard to understand?

Certain things are not to be joked whit, thus ticket to hell, but on the internet it’s “allowed”. It is still inaproriate, but “fun” because its the brutal truth.
Ever heard of dark sense of humor?

  43. pop says:

Stop giving AID to Africa and see these type of problems go away. Cruel but true.

    • Max War says:

good one pop… why not poison food then? If your answer for world hunger is to let them die, the world is going to a dark dark place.
By the way, free expression… idiots shouldn´t have it :)

      • Chuck says:

if idiots don’t have free expression, then what will we laugh at?

        • pop says:

If you keep feeding a wild cat, he will eventually forget to hunt for himself and keep coming to you for food. And when you are not at home, he will starve. Or…teach a man to fish……Same logic. + With all the corrupt leaders in Africa, not much of the AID trickles down to the ordinary citizens.
          pop…the idiot living in Africa.

          • klara says:

A cat could only stop hunting if he’d get enough food to survive. In Afrika this is not the case (as you probably know), people do try to make a living for themselves and don’t simply live off what other countries give them. So it’s a bad comparison (and you can’t really compare a cat to a human being to begin with).

I can’t see how the AID causes the problem, but I do agree that long term help (for ex. education) would be a better investment and the government is cr4p.

            • pop says:

True – the cat example is a bad one….but at least it helps getting the point down. How many trillion of dollars have been pumped into Africa. What are the results……all I see is hunger, corruption and dictatorship. Remember, democracy doesn’t quite work in Africa as in the rest of the civilized world.

              • dotdotdot says:

the rest of the civilized world? and the country itself is poor. the reasons are debatable but it’s not their fault that they can’t possibly find a job when they don’t have the kind of economy that we have in “the civilized world”. We have poor people, and they get usually get help or atleast aren’t left to starve to death. are you saying their more civilized than third world country citizens are?

                • pop says:

Which country are you talking about, because Africa is a continent, not a country. The key word is “REST” of the civilized world. If you want to read it as you do, fine. According to my logic it means Africa is one part of the civilized world, and the rest of the civilized world is…..well, the rest of the civilized world. I don’t know where you from, but yes, all countries all over the world have poor people – thats a negative spin-off of capitalism.

          • Bobby says:

Sadly enough, Pop, you seem to be one of the few that are actually speaking the logics of truth.

          • Crumbs says:

Pop… the idiot lying about living in Africa.

            • pop says:

Yea, no sorry Bobby, actually I was born and bred in Africa, and i’m still here today. I see the same old pattern playing itself out, over and over and over.

  44. Comic says:

NOTHING is above being joked about – even starving kids in Africa. Murder can be joked about; rape can get a laugh. Don’t pretend like morbid things can’t be funny, you hypocrites. Put this poster on your local schoolbus and see how many less bologna sandwiches get thrown away

  45. Mr. Sense Mediator says:

The person who made the first poster made a striking political statement, which was inappropriate for this site, which is for comedy. Whether the intention was to point out the terrible life of this kid or poke fun at him can’t be known.

    • Max War says:

      You are sir.

Aid comes in many ways, not just in food, but infrastructures, medicine, etc as well…and bad use of that AID is one thing, no AID at all is another.
I guess not being the one starving, makes it more easy to decide about policy :|

ps- i hope since you are in africa, you can make a difference for your continent :)

      • pop says:

Agreed, however, who is building the infrastructure, schools, hospitals etc. etc. Part of these processes includes for example government tenders, where, as you know, money to build these institutions can very easily vanish into the thin air. I’m saying, don’t send money or food or medicine – send eg. teachers, professors, engineers, farmers, doctors who can teach and train these people to help them self. Don’t know if you ever traveled through Africa, but everywhere you stop you will notice kids gathering around you, not asking, but EXPECTING a handout. That, my dear friend, is the mindset created by do gooders like Gandolf and Bono.

ps. I’m dong my part right now, making you aware of the real situation.

  46. DragonEd says:

You all need to get off your mountains. This type of post is what this site was meant for and it also happens to be true. It does not have to be funny and/or in good taste at all.

Also, hell doesn’t exist. This guy isn’t “going” anywhere when he dies. He’s just going to rot in the ground, or lay about in an urn in the form of ash. Just like the rest of us.

Karma doesn’t exist either btw. He’ll probably go on to live a comfortable and enjoyabe life in a well-off part of the world. Whereas those children in the poster will likely die horrible and painful deaths.

All in all then, this is indeed a very demotivational poster.

  47. Pirate says:

this is classless. there are things that shouldn’t be made fun of.

  48. skittles250 says:

    bahahaha this belongs on lollercaust.com

  49. Orangello says:

I think the first and second posters are both very funny and demotivational.

  50. Camel says:

You’re all a bunch of pussies yeah it sucks for the kids in africa but s**t get off your high horses and have a laugh at something. Concidering that the guy wasnt even making fun, he was just pointing out. Bunch of suck ups trying to be “good” is what you people are. sit down and shut up.

  51. lu says:

this was obviously not suppose to be funny, the person made a critic. go study man.

  52. someguy says:

    this just friggen sad……

  53. you should says:

    ..get over it.

  54. Rita says:

For those of you who don’t get it, the caption “this guy just bought first class to hell” refers to the maker of the poster that’s INSIDE of the outer frame — the one that says there’s nothing for dinner for those poor kids.

  55. Shauda17 says:

It’s just so sad if u guys makes jokes about this pic. Or laugh about it. Tsk tsk tsk!

  56. G says:

Man, what a sad bunch of ID10T’s……….poking fun of others that are less fortunate…….shows me what “the american way” is in actual fact….. hungry kids who have been starving for a long time being ridiculed by fat overfed americans….

  57. fud says:

I hate the first guy, love the second. Not love, you know what I mean…

  58. plue_plue says:

When there is so much truth we HAD to laugh. The first post was very de-motivational. It really did made me feel totally de-motivated.

  59. Suction Cup says:

Just for being hungry? That’s not a sin…

  60. Paul says:

For all of you who are amused by this, you disgust me. This is absolutely tasteless, i cant beleive anyone would even joke about things like that. Some of these comments showed me just how heartless a person can be. You asses don’t understand the conditions and plights that thes people have to go through every single second of every day. And since you haven’t experienced it, you have no right to laugh, NO F**KING RIGHT!
    disgusting. T.T

  61. Barto says:

i can’t laugh about it. it just feels wrong…

  62. kennsuhow says:

The last few comments are entertaining. Jeez, they said the guy who did THE ORIGINAL POST should go to hell. They’re actually agreeing with you.
