Thin glass or rolled steel or aluminum sheeting is another option – assuming this is one of those costumes you stand around in and don’t move. DragonCon usually have a number of those anyway, so I don’t see an issue there.

Why bother? Frigging Lady Gaga dresses like this on a daily basis…not much of a challenge, although it would be cool to see.
Japanese have been doing it for 15 years. Gag-gag is not really that outstanding.
You should know better than to direct that sort of challenge towards a focus group with nothing but time on their hands. I’m almost afraid to go to Acen because I’m pretty sure some girl will be wearing this. Oh, god what have you done.
Compared to some cosplays i’ve seen, this wouldn’t be that hard to make.
The problem I see is it’s against dress code for most cons i know. What’s the point of making it if you aren’t allowed to show it?

As someone who actually makes (but doesn’t wear) cosplay costumes, yeah, it could be done. I’ve certainly seen worse.
the sad part is, most cons I go to would only ban it for the gun. Saw someone as a blood elf wearing about the same amount of clothing last year. >.<
Doesn’t look that bad from a dress code point of view — everything important is covered. Sew the bikini bits onto a flesh-tone leotard and not only do you not need to worry about slippage but you can build the false boobs into it.
Those heels are going to be a pain, though. If I knew anyone with the right body type and who wanted to wear this, I’d probably try a clear plastic casting around the heel for stability.

Only major issue…..it’s so fricken top heavy….I feel sorry for the wearer’s neck. Upper body strength needed….and lower body strength needed just for the heels and the movement of upper body. …don’t lean over.

So… we have pasties, glosticks, thigh-high furry socks, over-the-knee boots, furry glove liners, gloves, tulle for the face, and foam/latex for the headpiece and shoulderpads.
