A stupid bimbo who went to….some University, but was kicked out for making a video insulting Japanese students talking to their families on their cells.
The Daily Bruin[1] reported that the UCLA administration responded, calling the video repugnant, and printed Alexandra’s apology.
Clearly the original video posted by me was inappropriate. I cannot explain what possessed me to approach the subject as I did, and if I could undo it, I would. I’d like to offer my apology to the entire UCLA campus. For those who cannot find it within them to accept my apology, I understand.
UCLA officials said that Wallace would not be disciplined for her actions because her video was a form of free speech rather than hate speech.
I think she was ranting mostly about chinese people, but towards the end she said something like “I know they’re calling their families because of the tsunami, but blabla…”, hence showing she doesn’t even know the difference between Japan and China. Which brings me to the question…how the HELL did she even get accepted!?
Assuming she is not studying geography, she doesn’t really need to know the difference between China and Japan for … say… computer science.
Although, it would be nice if she did.
A stupid bimbo who went to….some University, but was kicked out for making a video insulting Japanese students talking to their families on their cells
She made this around the same time as the tsunami, soooo, it was in really really bad taste. She also singles out Asians, not anyone on their cell phones.
She did say at the end of the video that she wasn’t trying to be racist against asians- just that she’s never seen or heard anyone of any other race doing it.
Whatever. She’s kinda right, but it was all done in bad taste, as you said. She’s not all wrong; mostly stupid. But it’s okay. We’ll live. Whatever. Meh.
feeling offended is natural for people and they have the right to express their emotions so yes people do have the right to feel offended.maybe you should watch stuff before commenting upon it.
what joe dirt said didn’t make much sense as each sentence canceled out the other. it was overreaction but they had the right? what?
and yes it was racist. also, to the people who quite rightly pointed out that chinese people live and work in japan and that they also suffered a tsunami, do you really believe she even knew that? and if she did does it make it ok?
I don’t know if we need to defend some absolute human right to not be offended in order to censure people for poor taste? (Censure but _not_ censor).
If you choose to speak in the public realm (people are saying blog post?) you expose yourself to the judgement of the public and to the possibility that a lot of people will disagree with you and/or dislike you on the grounds of the opinions you express.
Whether people are overreacting to what she actually said is another question and I haven’t read / watched the relevant stuff so I can’t comment on that!
While it is true that there is no right to be offended, were have every right to judge people for failing to meet the standards our society has set for acceptable behavior, and private organizations have the right to punish those people who fail to meet those standards as well.
She has every right to act like a douchebag, but she should then be expected to be treated like a douchebag. And she was.
I’m sorry…who exactly makes up the standards for acceptable behavior? I’ve seen time and time again where one person is condemned for doing or saying something that is socially unacceptable, yet another person is given a pass for doing the same exact thing.
Before society starts setting standards to judge people by, maybe society shouldn’t be a bunch of douchbags who put sets of standards for all sorts of people.
I’m not trying to defend her…although she does make a point (although I have seen other groups besides Asians do the same thing), it wasn’t delivered very well (should have thought the response out more…taken some time to really think of reactions, etc.) The point here is, before anyone starts quoting some standard for society that we are suppose to follow, they better make sure that they judge everyone under the same standard, not just who they feel like it.
She singles out a particular group, mocks their way of speaking in a derogatory way (the accent and the ching-chong bit), makes generalizations about their ability to function in the world and about the quality of their upbringing (bc she’s the product of sterling parenting), and, according to her father, wanted to make a website about “Asians in the library” and was making videos. But she said, “Don’t take this offensively,” so I guess that makes it okay. Isn’t that how it works? Don’t take this offensively, but your mother is a wh*re, but you know, don’t take it offensively.
Ah-so, me thinkee she big rlacist. I think she round eye whore, but hard for me to see her pichar thru squinty eye. she need be more sensativ to asian peolpes. Bwoooawngh!
Look up the definition of racist, then look up bigot. For most people, it’s one in the same. So to point out how stupid that is, I’ll make a parallel argument: If you’ve had sex, you’re a rapist. Discuss.
Tee Hee! Oh silly people…She’s both racist and stupid. She’s pissed off at the action and takes it out by pinning it on a single ethnicity. The whole “Asians in libraries” website thing takes it a bit extreme…
I watched the video but while it was offensive…I almost died laughing. I know it sounds callous, but honestly, just listening to her I was put into a conundrum, rip out my own teeth one by one to prevent an irrelevant outburst, or just laugh. Sometimes idiots, no matter how offensive, are just pretty damned funny.
the difference there is that chris would be joking. he has also earned the right to say certain things and get away with it because it is his job and deep down you know he doesn’t mean it. also he would only be making a comment on society as a whole. this girl is ignorant and was not joking.
Going by those pictures and the Youtube clip, she’s either befriended Victoria’s Secret in a big way or bought herself a new pair of chest warmers. Either way, she’s still a bint.
Honestly, the worst thing about this is that the stupid woman put it up on youtube. If she’d just done it, blown off steam and got back to the library (to do what? Blow her tutors for points?) she would have been fine.
And luckily people have free speech to call her an idiot for it.
She wasn’t kicked out of school for this if that is what you’re implying, she left by herself. Probably for the best, she’s researching political science and doesn’t seem to understand the difference between China and Japan.
Free speech lets you express your opinion freely, which she did. However, it doesn’t spare you from having to deal with other people freely expressing their opinions of your free speech. If she didn’t have the common sense to keep her views off of youtube and she became a social outcast because of that, well, it’s her own lack of planning and foresight. Honestly, the biggest shock to me was she didn’t think twice about putting this up on the internetz. It’s not rocket science to see that some people may react negatively.
You can tell this was emotionally driven. If she was using some common sense, one of the following scenarios would have played out:
1. She would not have posted it on YouTube.
2. She would not have made comments that may get her in serious trouble with people. Granted, not everyone will like the response, but the way you deliver it determines whether you are labeled an insightful genius or a babbling idiot.
One of the most ironic and hilarious things I’ve ever witnessed was a Chinese friend from Beijing mocking the Cantonese dialect of the characters in a movie; she made fun of it with those “ching chong” noises that silly people here use to mock all Chinese languages.
In her video she described them as “hoards of Asians”… Doesn’t that sound a bit derogatory to you? Hoard is a word for pests and vermin. That, to me, suggests a kind of inferiority in her mind.
As someone that is learning both Mandarin and Nipponjin, one of my favorite things to do is wait for some jackass like this bimbette to say something “intelligent” like Ching cong, ting tong, ling long. I then turn slowly, stare her in the eyes, and say “Dahn le ma? You do WHAT with small animals and Miracle Whip?” And then turn around, and walk away.
I didn’t get it. Why is she racist and what is she doing?
Check it:
http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/asians-in-the-library
you’ll be like:
OHHHHHHHHHHH CHING CONG TING TONG LING LONG….. OHHHHHHHHHH
Im sure i understand it……but would like some elaboration.
Who’s that?

Allexandra Wallace who posted a racist rant against Asian students who speak on the phones in the library thus ruining her life.
I thought she used the word Japanese in the video somewhere.
I think she was ranting mostly about chinese people, but towards the end she said something like “I know they’re calling their families because of the tsunami, but blabla…”, hence showing she doesn’t even know the difference between Japan and China. Which brings me to the question…how the HELL did she even get accepted!?
1 word…boobs. I’ve ran into some major retards my last semester, most of them dropped out.
Got a point there. College without boobs is like….well, anything without boobs.
You mean, a hollow and endless void of bleak, nothingness?
^indeed^
Not like there are lots of chinese working in Japan or anything…
The news. Watch it
Yeah, I’m sure that’s what she meant. -_-
OK. I agree with most of what you said. I just have to point out that there WERE tsunamis in China… They were caused by the earthquakes in Japan.
The tsunami had a minimal effect on China because Japan was between the earthquake and China and got the worst of it
I know that, just like I know that there are Chinese working in Japan. But again, I’m pretty damn sure that’s not what she meant…
Assuming she is not studying geography, she doesn’t really need to know the difference between China and Japan for … say… computer science.
Although, it would be nice if she did.
I think she was studying Political Science.
In the video she says I was studing political science.
Wouldn’t China have been hit by some water too? They have quite a bit of coast line , Japan can’t block it all. Has anything happened to them?
I’m being serious here actually, I haven’t heard a thing about any other place that may have been hit.
A stupid bimbo who went to….some University, but was kicked out for making a video insulting Japanese students talking to their families on their cells
link?
How evil!
She wasn’t kicked out, she left voluntarily.
is that really important?
A little – it would be pretty big news if universities did start expelling people for racism and poor taste.
after the death threats yeah
I see, thanks, both of you. I’ll look for this vid
Someone might need to elaborate on this for me.
Was it actually Racist or are people over reacting again?
Well Rough quote
“On their cellphones going’ Ah. ching chong Ling Long Ting Tong’”
It was overreaction by oversensitive crybabies. There is no right to not be “offended”.
She made this around the same time as the tsunami, soooo, it was in really really bad taste. She also singles out Asians, not anyone on their cell phones.
She did say at the end of the video that she wasn’t trying to be racist against asians- just that she’s never seen or heard anyone of any other race doing it.

Maybe you should try reading what was actually written before making yourself look stupid.
what joe dirt said didn’t make much sense as each sentence canceled out the other. it was overreaction but they had the right? what?

Are you Asian? No? Shut up then.
While it is true that there is no right to be offended, were have every right to judge people for failing to meet the standards our society has set for acceptable behavior, and private organizations have the right to punish those people who fail to meet those standards as well.

That’s pretty much the truth.
Judging by her cloths the tits, and hair I say give her two-five years.
Two-five years? Would that be twenty five years?
The dash implies the word “to” meaning, in this case, 2 to 5 years.
Ah-so, me thinkee she big rlacist. I think she round eye whore, but hard for me to see her pichar thru squinty eye. she need be more sensativ to asian peolpes. Bwoooawngh!
what you say tells us who you actually are IRL, not your name.
hard to tell if she’s really racist or just stupid. i’m kind of leaning towards stupid.
She’s a blond so that’s like say water is wer.
saying
wet
Racist bastard.
Blond isn’t a race and I was blond.
Doesn’t my spelling say it all.
ahmed the dead terrorist?
LOL!
She appears to be illuminous orange… that just doesn’t seem right.
Being orange isn’t normal. But it is on the Jersey shore.
Jersey shore. Not even once.
+1
Well, judging by the picture, I’d say she has the right mouth for the job!
I agree
This.
next time make a good demotivational that doesnt require explanation. idiot
lol or require a google search
Or watching the news.
Or live in this planet
or exist.
Thank you. I was just thinking that.
honestly…..i thought it was racist b/c shes blond and her mouth is is ready ferr a bjj
Look up the definition of racist, then look up bigot. For most people, it’s one in the same. So to point out how stupid that is, I’ll make a parallel argument: If you’ve had sex, you’re a rapist. Discuss.
What’s with all the downvotes? This one’s hilarious
see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Johj5WEYzZo
The question remains how she got into UCLA.
It’s an unwritten law that every college must have 1 blond bimbo to every 10 normal sorority chick
It ain’t who you know, but how you blow.
WIN
Tee Hee! Oh silly people…She’s both racist and stupid. She’s pissed off at the action and takes it out by pinning it on a single ethnicity. The whole “Asians in libraries” website thing takes it a bit extreme…

she’s stating that the people who talk on their cellphones are asians, so that’s NOT racist.
btw, i never knew americans had manners.
And I never knew French people got on the internet…Why don’t you hide.
French love the internet. It offers them billions of people in hundreds of countries to surrender to.
While this girl is a stupid bimbo… exactly what did she say that wouldn’t get uproarious applause if Chris Rock said it?
Well, besides the fact she would be painfully unfunny if she were a stand up comedian?
the difference there is that chris would be joking. he has also earned the right to say certain things and get away with it because it is his job and deep down you know he doesn’t mean it. also he would only be making a comment on society as a whole. this girl is ignorant and was not joking.
858 people agree with her apparently.

a counter video to the ucla racist vid, which snippets of the original video.
LOL!
Blew her college career with that vid. Now working for a living – as blowup doll.
Honestly, the worst thing about this is that the stupid woman put it up on youtube. If she’d just done it, blown off steam and got back to the library (to do what? Blow her tutors for points?) she would have been fine.
Ok, I just watched the vid in question, and have one simple question:
What the hell epiphany is she reaching in Political Sciences? “Jeez, I need to learn how to flip burgers!”
more like ‘i just realised who i should go down on to ensure my economic future’
Her only crime is saying out loud the same things we all think.
Speak for yourself buddy.
Racist? Maybe. Insensitive? Most definitely. Having to leave school for it? Bullcrap. Have we all forgotten about free speech?
And luckily people have free speech to call her an idiot for it.
She wasn’t kicked out of school for this if that is what you’re implying, she left by herself. Probably for the best, she’s researching political science and doesn’t seem to understand the difference between China and Japan.

ummm…… Boobs!
wth why is that all a link? It wasnt a link when I copied it from merriam webster’s site… strange.
She’ll fit right in as a politician. She’s just forgetting to say “I blame Obama” after every few sentences. She’ll get it together.
One of the most ironic and hilarious things I’ve ever witnessed was a Chinese friend from Beijing mocking the Cantonese dialect of the characters in a movie; she made fun of it with those “ching chong” noises that silly people here use to mock all Chinese languages.
“so being the nice, polite american girl my momma raised me….” – the only thing your mother raised was the bottle of alcohol during her pregnancy!
Society has become nothing more than over sensitive pu$$ies. We’re so worried about offending others, but it’s ok if others offend us? WTF?!?!?!
I have to agree with the 2nd part.
I have to agree with the whole thing.
http://www.buzzfeed.com/mjs538/the-best-of-asians-sleeping-in-the-library
Much better
So, would you say she’s stereotyping?
I’d hit that even if she is racist
In her video she described them as “hoards of Asians”… Doesn’t that sound a bit derogatory to you? Hoard is a word for pests and vermin. That, to me, suggests a kind of inferiority in her mind.

That’s stupid.
could* not wouldn’t, ffs.
Hehehehe; “Y’all y’all, ‘y’all; donuts, donuts, donuts; is France a country?, is France a country, is France a country; burger.
Thought it was racist because of her small mouth hole.
