    Win. +1000 internetz.

  2. JohnCarlos says:

I’m surprised nobody has thought of that one before.

Plus, Brokeback Mountain in German is even supergayer, but still not as gay as Twilight.

    • Tarlja says:

Uhm, why is it more gay in german? Translations or what? (I only watched it in german, so I don’t really know what you’re trying to say xD)

But, you’re right, it’s really strange that no one thought of this before Oo

  3. Adatex says:

Twilight is made from this film. They just added some teeth and sparkle.

    • Brian-M says:

And a girl as the main love interest instead of a second guy. Hetrosexual relationships are SO gay…

  4. Cloymax says:

I hate Twillight, but I’ll have to disagree with this one, because Twillight is atleast a heterosexual romance…

  5. Troll says:

Folks who spend their time making these posters are likely repressing their own latent homosexuality. After about 50 of these posters, it gets really old. If you still think they are funny, you must be real insecure about your own manhood…

    • Orly says:

And folks who call them selves trolls and try to make a psycologistic appearance are…. they are…. GAY!! …. yes gay, i said it!

    • Abby says:

      What if I’m a girl?

    • kthnxbai says:

Folks who spend their time telling people, that they are likely repressing their own latent homosexuality, are likely repressing their own latent homosexuality. After about 50 of these comments, it gets really old. If you still think they are necessary, you must be real insecure about your own manhood…

  6. Hither says:

    *that ass*

  7. Unregistered says:

    Well duh?

  8. JayEffEych says:

Screw you. This movie is amazing. People just say it’s bad without even watching it, just because it’s a gay romance. It’s actually very sweet, and much more realistic than most romances.

And yes, I got the joke. Just saying, comparing this to Twilight is a huge dis.

    • J2Rock says:

Actually, I DID watch it. I closed my eyes or turned my head during a couple parts, but it was worth watching. I will never watch it again. Not because I am homophobic or anything, it just has NO re-watchability.

  9. Argh says:

I’m so ready for these “Not as gay as Twilight” things to disappear. I think each time they come up in my RSS feed, I’ll delete that feed.

  10. breathe in breathe out says:

    ಠ_ಠ

  11. Drosophila says:

I think this neatly demonstrates why we need to stop using “gay” to mean “stupid, awful, and unmanly”.

  12. Daniel says:

VERY CLOSE but not quite there

  13. J says:

    Mmmm,it’s a close call

  14. Pfantom says:

Could people please quit using the same joke over and over and over again. It’s not really funny anymore.

    • Jedit says:

You appear to have missed the word “meme” when learning English.

You’re right about the humour value tapering off, though.

      • ClariPossum says:

It’s notsomuch the repetitiveness, but that it seems to show up like every 3 submissions. Too much of a “good” thing (I say that because I never liked this meme to begin with, but that’s just my opinion) and all that. It seems to me that this site could do with a bit more variety.

  15. jesse says:

i think yes brokeback mountain is a homosexual movie but to say things are gay is offensive the word gay is politically incorrect i think u should just say its stupid or dumb instead of “gay”

  16. John says:

You see Michelle Williams’ and Anne Hathaway’s boobs in this movie.

    Straight guys, quit complaining.

  17. Cam says:

    Still . . . trying too hard

  18. Kedy123 says:

I also hate this “not as gay as Twilight” meme. Yeah, I hate Twilight as much as anyone here, but the word “gay” should NOT be uset as a synonym for something bad.

    • tyberius says:

Agreed. The whole notion of Twilight being “gay” is based on a combination of ignorant stereotypes about gay people and thinly veiled homophobia. This meme is about as offensive to gays as the whole “women belong in the kitchen making sandwiches” thing to women.

      • Chaosdada says:

Only to really dumb gays. The others will understand that gay in this context is exactly about cliches and is not about them – that’s why actually Twilight is gayer than homosexuals.

      • Jeff (the American one) says:

@Kedy – You completely miss the point. They arent using gay as a synonym for bad, they are saying that Twilight is ACTUALLY more homosexual than this. (since Robert Pattinson acts gay and sparkles)

@Tyberius – And yet both memes (gay as twilight and kitchen makin sandwiches) are hilarious. So stop trolling.

        • Hermit says:

Being rational and sincere is what passes for trolling these days? Pretty sure only trolls get mad over the rational and sincere (unless you’re of the opposing viewpoint, which means you yourself are homophobic). And how is stamping the word gay onto something you consider bad not an insult to actual gay people?

      • kthnxbai says:

Did you just ask the internet to be serious?

        • tyberius says:

Nah, I’m aware of how the collective underbelly of social behavior works. I speak up sometimes when it ticks me off just a bit too much. This meme will die eventually, but I don’t doubt the internet will come up with something else to make my day just a little less bright.

  19. Ydobon says:

    Y R U USING GERMAN POSTER?

  20. zoemew says:

Gosh, I wish they would stop insulting gay people by comparing them to Twilight. Y’know.

  21. ysoserious says:

am i the only one who has no clue what this movie is about?
