That’s Rogue from X-Men. Touching her bare skin is a life-threatening condition.
What about when touching regular humans? I don’t remember much, it’s been a long time since I’ve seen the 3 movies.
If she touches anyone bare-skinned she can drain their life-force, copy their powers, and copy their memories/knowledge as well.
BTW: I’d let her drain my powers anytime!
With a power like that, I don’t really think she needs protection… And you make a very strong point.
He/she does not mean defense protection. Rogue needs to cover her skin in order to protect others. So that she does not drain their life force.

I’ve been reading the Marvel Comic Database and apparently, since the events in X-Men Legacy, she’s able to voluntarily use her powers.

Huh, for a second, I thought that she was Omega class. But I haven’t read much of the comics, so I didn’t know she could switch it off. I thought it was something she couldn’t control.
It was. That was the entire point, but they changed it. No idea why.
Because they wanted her to have a physical relationship with someone.

Not the biggest Comic book fan, but from what i remember from X-man:Evolution cartoon. She and Gambit teamed up for some reason, they went somewhere together i prolly had a thing going on.
She looks like the Rogue from X-man : Evolution and not the one from the older stuff. I bet the caption means, Gambit is happy she is not covering her skin up
The reason they ‘prolly had a thing going on’ in Evolution is because in the comics they did have a ‘thing’ going on.
Supposed to be rogue from x-men? If so, then she can’t touch anybody without aquiring their powers or something like that. Don’t know enough about x-men.

she drains the energy of anyone she touches, mutants she gains their powers for a short amount of time, humans she sucks out their life until they die….had no idea i was this much of a nerd but damnit i am proud of it
almost. she drains the life force of everyone, not just humans. it’s true she does take the powers of other mutants, and she accidentally did to ms. marvel, acquiring her powers permanently (that’s why rogue can fly, has super-strength and is nearly invulnerable to damage). she also put ms. marvel in a coma when she did that.
oddly, the only mutant immune to her power is magneto, if you go by the age of apocalypse storyline.
Actually, Colossus is immune to her powers when he’s in his metal form.
So would that not mean Iceman could be immune to? When in ice form that is.
If I recall correctly, it was the Wild Lands where she had a small ‘fling’ with Magneto. Later she also had one with a clone of his, Joseph, and later on one with Colossus.
She and Gambit have had a going of back and forth for a long time, too.
