When I was a kid, one of my mom’s students traded me his Charizard for an Angewomon digimon card that I had. I still have that card.
Oh…I remember that. My friend had one of these, 1st edition. Everyone kissed up to him to try to trade him. One year for christmas I got this giant Yu-Gi-Oh master deck/book thing, had hundreds of cards. traded all of them for that charizard card. Now it’s framed and on my bedroom wall.

I actually got that card from a random pack. On the right of the length & weight, There is a 2 with a pokeball on it.
I think that would be a 2nd edition card?
That would mean it’s from Base 2, which is the set of cards released (Jungle, Fossil, Neo Genesis, to name a few). Not 2nd edition.

I think that’s a set. If i remember right, and this is a fair few years ago, that might be a base 2 set. Pretty sure they re-released most of the base set and the jungle set into a new set.

Happiest day of my life was opening a booster pack and seeing 4 fire icons in the corned of the card. It was a “now way!” moment, I didn’t fully believe it till I pulled the card all the way out and saw him. Amazing what joy a piece of paper can bring…

I remember though, I have a ‘Birthday Pikachu’ limited edition card, signed by Satoshi Tajiri himself. Some collector wanted to pay 120 dollars for it, but it’s just too special to me.
