TIME
heals all wounds, but usually leaves a pretty big scar
Except for fatal wounds. They rarely heal.
Very nearly wise.
Ok, I don’t get the joke. Unless this is a Half-Life joke. In which case, it is quite poorly presented. -_-
These kinds of pictures annoy me. They reinforce the idea that police in riot gear (or whatever these guys are, they don’t quite look official) are nothing but faceless embodiments of governmental oppression. Rather than human beings risking their lives to protect people from a rampaging mob.
I don’t get bugged by much, but dehumanisation of police officers is right up there.
Thing is, I dont see a riot for these guys to handle…. so unless it’s a drill, then perhaps they’re a bit over-dressed for handing out parking tickets and catching j-walkers.
I don’t see them handing out parking tickets and busting jaywalkers either.
Do you think THEY care what pictures of them are being posted on the internet?
some humans like fight
I think the police forces of the world are generally quite good at dehumanizing themselves by wearing more and more militaristic and anonymous uniforms and behaving more and more aggressively against citizens.
But they are faceless. They only care for blood. They are like vampires. Their thirst of it. I know because I work directly with this evil forces. Some of them even take drugs to do it. When they attack people they aren’t even thinking of anything but fight. You should check you sources.
Seems legit.
So legit that I will use him/her/it as my source for all arguments now.
Thank you for your eloquent rebuttal and well thought out response.
I no longer fear for our species mental decline, having seen the work of a genius as yourself.
you know what is funny? it’s from minnesota during the lockout. what a great waste of my tax payer money.
Combines! They’re real!
the building behind these guys is the capitol building in st. paul MN. this was taken during the Republican National Convention in 2008.
the cops there beat up a lot of people for very little reason.
I doubt it. There is a thing called “escalation of force” that police members go through. Don’t do what they say, and you deserve the consequences.
MN state capitol in the background
Do you mean that people rejected from society hlod their scars, fail at school and finally get a job where they could have revenge?
I didn’t realize we were living in a police state.
is that the Minnesota state capital in the backround?
Yes
Yes it is. You can tell by the gold horses.
They kinda remind me of the Combine from Half-Life 2.
Indeed that is the Minnesota State Capitol in the background, looking down John Ireland Blvd.
Are you my mummy?
me i’m pretty sure it is.spotted the bronze statue right away.and wizzle, true words.i have many relatives in law enforcement and many friends.
Are you my mummy?
A pre-emptive overture to the 10th anniversary of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001: It’s five days early.
Time heals all wounds: We have recovered from a low point in history that nobody at the time thought we would.
But usually leaves a big scar: As Fred states, because of said events, we have been living in what can be best described as a police state for the past 10 years.
There appears to be an event going on at a capitol building (state or federal, I don’t know or care), but the security has to be ready for absolutely anything. (hence the gas masks)
Unlike most posters on this site, it is a demotivational, rather than a memebase.
That’s why they wear helmets and protective jackets.
They’re missing Headcrab hats to wear on top of their helmets.
