    ^ this

  2. Yawho says:

I wonder how many of the haters actually tried reading the books. I got to page 43 and now at least I don’t feel stupid for hating it anymore.

    • Darkage says:

Saw the 2nd movie. Laughed my ass off…

      • Se-Mi says:

read the sparknotes and I PUKED IN MY MOUTH

      • tom says:

NOT a twilight fan, but im soory, thats like watching a harry potter movie and saying it was crap without reading the books

      • ClariPossum says:

The second movie was pretty bad compared to the f!rst. The third one was ok.

I haven’t had the funds to buy the books (or any books) so I haven’t read them, but when I watched the f!rst movie I found it interesting. It’s not GREAT but it was an interesting twist on vampires, I thought.

(Cheezburger, can we PLEASE just stop moderating the word f!irst now? It’s gotten VERY VERY old.)

        • Orly says:

”I haven’t had the funds to buy the books (or any books) so I haven’t read them…”

Bitsch, please. You’re on the Internets.

    • 'Nym-o-maniac says:

I hit up Mark Reads Twilight. Close enough.

    • SpaceFairie says:

I applaud your superhuman effort to make it that far, I only got about 20 pages in before I burned it. I’ve also tried flipping to a random page to see if I could stand it once I got further in, the answer is no, no I can’t.

I’ve read better self published titles.

    • Multi-Facets says:

I read enough and heard enough to know it’s garbage. I can never get that time of my life back.

    • Puck says:

Read all four of them. Would’nt call them SUPER, but I liked them. All the haters are so lame, because they probably all like something else that is just as stupid as the Twilight Saga…

    • FrightRat says:

      I tried to read it.
      I gave up.

  3. Error101010 says:

Rob Halford doesn’t deserve to be compared to this…

    • name (required) says:

No, no he does not. Some priests may be pedophiles, some Priests may be gay (long live JP), but neither of them deserve to be compared with this.

  4. Azze says:

    Almost as gay as twilight.

  5. zampan says:

This is one of the few times I can actually say LOL and mean I really laughed out loud, instead of the usual smirk.

  6. A British Guy says:

Oh, don’t feel horrible; it’s Stephenie Meyer’s fault for making such cardboard cut-out metaphors for homosexuals.

  7. plnk says:

Shouldn’t it be “I feel horrible for insulting gay people” ?

  8. Ford says:

Remember when someone said that being gay wasn’t as gay as Twilight? Yeah.

  9. 'Nym-o-maniac says:

    This.

  10. Cru says:

    Love this one

  11. poeYe says:

    This. Thank you.

  12. Rachel says:

Glad someone realized that even we don’t want that crap

  13. Jojo says:

Yeah, can we end the “gay-as-an-insult” garbage? It’s just ignorant, hateful subconscious propaganda working in you. We have been raised by a hateful, fearful society that wants to continue oppressing the gays by continuing to use the word “gay” as an insult. It starts with each one of us. Let us make a conscious effort to change the way we say things. If someone is unappealing to you don’t call them gay. That only gives power to prejudice and hateful people.

Free yourself from the hatred. Unless of course you’re just a hateful a**hole. Then you can go f*** yourself.

    • Arudo says:

      Cool story bro.

    • Ohforcryingoutloud says:

I’m sorry but LIBERACE was not as gay as Twilight.

Yes, I know he never actually said what his tastes where but have you seen that man’s wardrobe? And I think that a fair portion of the gays in the world do happily draw the line at Liberace and state categorically that they will never be THAT gay. Which is the point of the damn meme, the line on which we are all standing, gay, straight, bi, not sure and any other flavour, looking at Twilight and agreeing that none of us have ever seen anything quite THAT gay before. Including the people who saw Liberace in his full and finest regalia. There IS a line that even the Gays look at and agree that beyond it lies the phenomena of TOO gay. It is this line that the meme is using.

So I suggest this swiss army phrase that every one can use:

      Gayer than Liberaces’ wardrobe.

Which is a line I have heard many times from quite a few flavours of gay and once from a very sweet ol’ Queen in his early sixties who made John Inman look butch.

So, Twilight, officially gayer than Liberaces wardrobe.

(and is it just me or do a lot of ‘badass’ rappers have something of the Liberace in their dress sense?..)

    • ne0nlobster says:

      Cool story, bro.

    • Aerin says:

^^This. It’s this kind of intolerant attitude that keeps me from being me around most people because I don’t have the energy to explain.

  14. sitakali says:

I wish more people felt horrible about this. It’s a horrible meme.

  15. toshka says:

has anyone else noticed that the ‘l’ in twilight looks like a toy?

  16. Kira says:

    THANK YOU!!!!
    WE DONT WANT THE ASSOCIATION

  17. ShockOfTheUnknown says:

seriously guys, leave Twilight alone. I don’t make hate memes/propaganda towards stuff you like, like Harry Potter and Doctor Who, so why do it to me and others who like it? So what if you don’t like it….WHO CARES! Ever heard of tolerance?

And since when is Twilight homosexual? It’s a romance story similar to Beauty and the Beast, which has no gay people in it. You are all ignorant and show correlations between things that have NO connection whatsoever…like Edward being gay. Just because his skin seems to sparkle in the sun, it doesn’t make his feelings for Bella change. You guys make me really mad sometimes. How do you live with yourselves? Seriously….being a hater just makes your life suck more.

    The end.

    • KuroShiro says:

      Cool story, brah.

    • skimonkey says:

please don’t compare twilight to beauty and the beast… The quality of the storys are so so different.

In my opinion twilight was similar to poorly written fan fiction and should never be compared to anything else as it would make twilight seem worse.

I have yet to find one guy that liked the series as much as the teen female population.

  18. KuroShiro says:

znedrow4, you insulted crap with this poster :(

  19. Drakam says:

I think that we all agree that the movies are crap (at least for the male population, cause for a woman any movie whith Taylor Lauthern shirtless is an instant hit) But when you read the books its a rather good history, i mean, it may not become a legend like Dracula but its a sweet romance and i can see and apretiate all the work and heart that Mayer put on thoose books, so i Love Twiligt :)

  20. Count says:

    Guys…
Twilight is a parody of a vampire story. Want real vampire, read or watch Hellsing by Kouta Hirano.
Even if you dont like violence, there are still lot of books and films, like Dracula with Gary Oldman or Interview with the Vampire by Anne Rice.
Latest movies, tv shows etc. show vampires as stupid fops with inteligence of dull teenager.

  21. lulz says:

It’s things like Twilight, Jersey Shore, fake tans, and late night commercials that make me realize why countries hate the U.S.

    • tyberius says:

As much as we non-Americans like to think we are smarter than you, the sad fact is, Twilight is popular worldwide, and there are Jersey Shore-like reality shows in a number of countries, including mine. Apparently, there is a market for badly written love stories and sitting on a couch passing judgment over a bunch of douchebags just about everywhere. And don’t even get me started about fake tans, they are like the Black Death, just more pandemic.
