without the effect of moving through gas as a simplification, the acceleration IS 0 in the x direction (its not accelerating after launch). But And Spongy is right; the acceleration due to gravitational pull is constant during the whole throw (-9,81m/s^2). the gravity doesn’t stop when you are at the top of the trajectory)
I don’t like it either. The few times I have tried, though, I have actually used my super awesome parabolic equations from Physics. It worked a lot more than usual.
That’s the glass breaking bird, shooting directly at a pig is a bad idea especially because you do have to break a lot of glass in this level and the ones you are aiming at will most likely fall to their deaths anyways from the bomb. 0_0
Am I the only one to noticed that they are preparing to launch a blue bird and didn’t factor in that it will eventually be split into three birds, all having their own trajectory and velocity?
Fail.
It says the velocity and acceleration at the highest point is 0.
in the y direction it is
was about to disagree, but your probably unintended but correct use of singular instead of plural saved you
its intended, but i guess that how i learned this stuff in highschool.
Nope, ay=-9.8m/s^2 at all times. Constant acceleration in y dirn, 0 in x dirn = parabolic flight.
its still 0 velocity, ill still take that part as a win wooooooooo
No it isn’t. The velocity at the highest point is equal to velocity in the x direction and only the velocity in the y direction is 0.
which is what i meant HADURRR LOL NOW EYES ACTS IMATOORE NOW DUMBLEDORE.
i love math and i approve this message
Looks like someone took Angry Birds a little too seriously…
Why so serious? It will only make you angry. Anger leads to hate, hate leads to genocide.
I sense much fear in you.
Eh?
Acceleration on top is not equal to zero, just sayin’.
in the x-direction it is.
you meant y direction.

Da phaq?
Never could get into this game, just didn’t appeal to me.

Cool story, bro.
tl;dr
UUUMMmmm; Rusty?
I think you’ve bookmarked the wrong site.
Something with Lemon in the URL I believe.
stupid copypasta is stupid

Geometry’s real use
Am I the only one to noticed that they are preparing to launch a blue bird and didn’t factor in that it will eventually be split into three birds, all having their own trajectory and velocity?
But the central Blue Bird will travel the predicted path. The other two will bracket it with a small perpendicular velocity added.
So why does the dropped egg ignore the forward velocity of the White Bird?
Has anyone else realized this is just an arc and not a full parabola?
A more important question is, Did angry birds update and I missed it???
Is it a laden or unladen bluebird?
there’s no air resistance here
Actually, this is called ‘Dynamics’.
