That’s me in the pic, and that’s how it started, alright. I’ve been wanting to try this since I was 8 (23 years ago!), but there was never enough snow or time or a kayak present. This was probably the best time I’ve ever had on the snow and I’d recommend it to anyone, providing you are willing to explain to your neighbors how you dented their garage door. :/
My housemate took the pic and I made the admittedly, not that funny, frame. The joke was based on my answer when a neighborhood kid asked me why I was going to go sledding in a kayak. The same guy who took the pic also took some video of one of his turns going down the hill. It’s as harrowing as it looks. You can see it here:

I did that last time it snowed. My whole neighborhood was staring at me like I was an idiot. i slammed my face into a car. It was so awesome, though…
