It’s a joke, implying that Sheldon is different enough from the rest of humanity to be his own species. You would say “Moose reproduce in such-and-such a way” or “Bacteria reproduce through xyz way”; Sheldon, the species, reproduce through mitosis.
Bacteria has a singular form: bacterium.
By using ‘Sheldon’ this way, the writer is implying that ‘Sheldon’ is a species. The alternative would be to write ‘Sheldons’ (plural).
For example:
‘Eurasian Lynx give birth to their young’ is correct.
‘Lynxes give birth to their young’ is also correct.

Yes, it is. It is the asexual form of reproduction that leads into cells of exact gentetic coding. Meiosis creates sex cells that are haploid and result in sexual reproduction. Reproduction comes from the latin verb Duco, lead, latin pro, forword, and re means again. So reproduction literally means to lead forth again, or bring forth again. Mitosis and Meiosos both allow reproduction, except meiosis will always result in a geneticlly different organism

Mitosis is cell division in pluricellular organisms, as a mean of growth or replacing dying cells. fission is the cell division of unicellular organisms as a mean of reproduction
If we want to all be technical, mitosis is only nuclear reproduction. You can have mitosis occur without cell division, in which case, you end up with a cell with two nuclei. Mitosis happens in eukaryotic organisms, and for unicellular eukaryotes, it is part of reproduction.
Binary fission, on the other hand, is what happens in prokaryotes, because no nucleus means they’d have a little bit of trouble when it comes to mitosis. While it’s sorta kinda the same thing as what eukaryotes do, they’re different things.
Since Sheldon is not a prokaryote (I’m assuming), if he were to reproduce asexually through the same method as unicellular eukaryotic organisms, mitosis would be semi-correct. Correct in that in the US, they teach mitosis as cellular division and people have it in their minds that they’re the same thing. Not correct because mitosis is technically only the nucleus.
And WTF with the “high school biology student” thing? Those are really pathetic “credentials.” Pretty sure just about everyone takes biology. Even my idiot sister has taken biology.

Rule 34 has nothing to do with reproduction: exemption invalid.
I have seen images and gifs of Sheldon Cooper reproducing through mitosis. Either the creator of this poster cannot internet as well as I can, is not as perverted as I am, or has not heard of rule 35 which clearly states that if pr0n has not yet been made of it then it will be made. Most members on Rule34 sites will enact rule 35 the moment they can’t find something, even if they have no artistic talent.
There is always an exception to every rule, even 34. Sometimes you just can’t find it.
