I FAIL. He told those 2 Philly fools that right before he started bustin’ caps.
He must have been ridiculously close to hit a target while holding his gun that badly.
Enclosed space…in a bar… maybe 20 feet or less… target was rather large (fat) couldn’t really miss with 3 shots fired. And he just swung 180 degrees to shoot from his left to right.
Honestly surpised he didn’t try that ridiculous “gangsta” style sideways.

Well yo be fair to the poster, even though the characters are hiding out in Georgia, the episode is titled “Nebraska” and they were discussing how Nebraska may be safer.

Walking Dead definitely takes place in Georgia. Duh.
Rick, Herhsel and Glenn talks to two strangers they meet, about potential safe locations. Nebraska comes up, as it has Low population, Lots of guns.
When the strangers get very insisting that they should be brought to the farm, Rick refuses. Just before the shoot out, one stranger asks: “But where should we go then?”
Rick answers with the text in the demotivational.
