There’s no shortage of fake news. At least some of them make it clear that they’re fake. I have no problem with DS, Colbert, Onion et al, since they make no attempt to fool anyone. Weekly World News, National Enquirer et al sort of pretend to be true, but only the most gullible and/or insane believe them. The “mainstream” media, whichever wing it represents, has a veneer of respectability that makes them more dangerous.
