“Couple of things. Dick Cheney shot someone in the face. He’s a dumbass.
Roosevelt was for guns, but for responsible ownership.
Roosevelt donated his DNA to create Chuck Norris. Chuck Norris owes his prowess to Teddy and a few other kick ass men.
Andrew Jackson was a thief. He stole the land of the Cherokee even tho the state govt of Georgia said they had every right to it. He tried to do the same thing to the Seminole. They just gave him the finger and said, “Fine, come get us.” They went to the Fla Swamps and stayed there. They are the only Native American tribe that did NOT sign a treaty. They are one of the only tribes who did not get kicked off their lands.
Also, Teddy wasn’t the one who brought us Income tax, it was brought up during the civil war to fill in gaps left by tariffs.
And if you want to be technical and talk about when income tax was ratified in it’s current incarnation, it was FDR, not TDR. Oh, and as cool as Chuck Norris is, he doesn’t have a beloved childhood toy named after him. “Teddy” does.
